TEACH YOUR CAT STOP SCRATCHING & USE THE SCRATCHIN POST

It's natural for cats in the wild to scratch :Since they use their claws for hunting, they need to keep them sharp.Even indoors,

cat have aneed to scratch, and not just for the exercise.Because they have sweat glands between their paw pads ,

scraching lets them leave their scent behind -their way of saying ,"Kiloy was here "

It's impossible to persuade them not to do it."You cant't teach a cat not to scratch,

but you can teach her what to scratch...Here are a few ways to keep cats from scratching where they shouldnt .

If they start to scratch something you dont want them to

Then clap Loud drop something right then close to them that makes a loud noise then take them to the post

you want them to scratch many times a day they will learn to only scratch that .

Put deterrence nasty subtances on what  they 're scratching to keep them from it or putting things around that will brak loudly, like balloons.

Decorate with leather & naugahyde instead of nobby cloth ,which cats prefer

Put Soft Paws or CAPS on their claws

Have them declawed if you wish

Trim their nails

Smear catnip on the cats poat

Hang a dangling toy

MOve the scratching post so its next to something they like to scratch.
